The dragon is surrounded by letters, text and numbers that often occur in my other work. Although half of them do not carry any meaning, they just exist on their own as independent elements. I love typography and playing with font design. I find drawing/painting these elements in a chaotic pattern a very beautiful and soothing process.
The theme of detachment from your sense of reality has always fascinated me in the context of space - the reason behind the use of cosmic symbolism in my work (stars, planets and comets).
