About

Display Fever is an art platform and an online gallery presenting multidisciplinary contemporary art practices.

It perceives itself as a movement and a supporter of artistic experimentation through collaborative methods and is characterized by or displaying a frenetic excitement or energy towards embracing collectivism, intimacy and support.

In other words on DISPLAY FEVER.

Based in London, the platform operates through an international multi-functional model, presenting a programme of events in different galleries and alternative spaces. Acting as an online gallery and a curatorial practice, Display Fever values the outsider and the unconventional, it proposes to create a counter capital to the traditional and systemic institutional likes and landscapes.

WHY

Currently, the pitch of the art world stimulates individualism, competition and discrimination. Producers of art often find themselves in a precarious, imbalanced and confused state, therefore, Display Fever encourages them to embrace their ‘feverish state’ and open up intimate and difficult conversations about their human experience. The platform aims to hold a safer space against the imbalanced systems of the art world and motivate practitioners to feel ‘hot and feverish’ no matter their identity and experience; proposing a community that is on DISPLAY FEVER.

WHAT WE DO

Committed to sustaining an inclusive and long-standing digital community, the platform offers artists an opportunity to sell and promote their work through our Online gallery - with a fair commission, providing an equal space to all artistic methods and media. We curate in different galleries and alternative spaces which allows for exploration of the unconventional while presenting a programme of unique happenings. In order to display artists’ true emotions, aspirations and working life, the platform presents studio visits and interviews, exposing the reality behind the scenes.
