Caterina Gobbi is a visual artist, performer and DJ combining feminist ecology with electronic music production. She creates immersive installations using sound-emitting sculptural objects, self-made instruments, moving images and natural elements. These environments are activated by performances, either by herself or by other performers or singers, for whom she directs and creates costumes. For her, sound is the mediator between people, environments, and everything in between.
She graduated from the Royal College of Art in London with a Master of Fine Art in 2018. She has exhibited and performed in Italy and abroad at galleries and institutions such as Istituto Svizzero, Italy; Castello Gamba, Italy; Chalton Gallery, London; Outpost Gallery, Norwich; Kunstraum Bethanien, Berlin; Palazzo Grassi, Venice; Karen Huber Gallery, Mexico City; Lily Robert, Paris; KINDL, Berlin.
